Victoria Webb, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in weight management, eating behavior, and health behavior change. Dr. Webb received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Yale University. Prior to completing her doctoral degree, she worked in weight-related research at the Center for Obesity Research and Education at Temple University and the Center for Weight and Eating Disorders at the University of Pennsylvania. During her graduate training, she led research on how food marketing affects individuals, and worked as part of the Rudd Center for Food Policy and the Yale Program for Obesity, Weight, and Eating Research.

Dr. Webb completed a clinical internship in health psychology at Rush University and a postdoctoral fellowship in health promotion/disease prevention within the Veterans Health Administration. She has provided clinical services in a variety of settings including academic medical centers, physicians’ offices, and psychological private practice. She has worked as primary psychologist on medical weight management and bariatric treatment teams. In addition to her general training in evidence-based treatments for physical and mental health conditions, Dr. Webb has advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for binge eating, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Dr. Webb applies her unique training background to support individuals in their health behaviors and overall wellness. She specializes in treating weight concerns, body image dissatisfaction, and maladaptive eating patterns including binge eating, bulimia, and emotional eating. She is also experienced in the treatment of behavioral sleep disorders including insomnia. Dr. Webb additionally treats depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, and difficulties adjusting to life transitions and medical conditions. She utilizes an empathic and empowering approach to behavior change and develops a personalized therapy plan with each client that is based upon the most recent evidence-based interventions and the client’s values and goals.
